again with queer visibility
what do we call it when women-identified folks “pass” as male and receive privilege?
is that butch privilege?
do we still call it butch privilege when they may not identify as butch, but still as women or any gender besides male (or a lack of gender)
what about men-identified folks are read as too feminine, or failing masculinity?
is that femmephobia?
if it is, do we still call it that if the person doesn’t ID as femme?
what about if they don’t ID as men at all but are still read as feminine or as women?
basically i want to know what we call it when people who aren’t men get something that looks like male privilege (though I fully acknowledge that it isn’t male privilege because they aren’t male and it also may look a lot different)
and what we call it when people who aren’t women experience something that looks like sexism though again I fully acknowledge that isn’t sexism because the person isn’t female and it may look a different
for trans women, there’s obviously RAMPANT, PERVASIVE transmisogyny, but I’m talking about maybe even cis males who experience something that looks like sexism?
